What to expect
Black Friday discounts on prebuilt gaming PCs are usually on specific models, not on everything a store sells, so a sale banner does not mean every PC is cheaper. Some stores start early prices in November; others keep their best prices for the day itself or Cyber Monday. What we can tell you is what our own price history says, budget by budget:
- Under $1,000: 101 gaming desktops in stock today. Of these, 101 have not changed price since we started recording. At this price the graphics card is almost everything. A Black Friday price that gets you a faster card for the same money is the deal to look for; a cheaper PC with a slower card usually is not.
- $1,000 to $1,500: 200 gaming desktops in stock today. Of these, 3 are at the lowest price we have recorded; 194 have not changed price since we started recording; 3 are above their lowest, by a median $54. The sweet spot for 1440p. A sale price can bring a PC with the next graphics card up into this budget, so compare the card, not just the discount.
- $1,500 to $2,000: 200 gaming desktops in stock today. Of these, 5 are at the lowest price we have recorded; 186 have not changed price since we started recording; 9 are above their lowest, by a median $140. High-refresh 1440p. Check that the CPU keeps up with the card: a big discount on an unbalanced PC buys frames you never see.
- $2,000 to $2,500: 200 gaming desktops in stock today. Of these, 6 are at the lowest price we have recorded; 183 have not changed price since we started recording; 11 are above their lowest, by a median $30. Fast 1440p and entry 4K. Check a sale price here against the PC's own price history before you buy.
We have recorded every price every morning since Sep 24, 2026, so this is the first Black Friday in our history: we cannot yet say how these PCs were priced last November, and we do not guess.
Is it really a deal?
A store's "was" price says what it wants you to compare with, not what the PC usually costs. We record every PC's price every morning and show that history on every PC page, so you can see whether a Black Friday price is really low.

When do Black Friday gaming PC deals start?
Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving in the US. Many stores start "early Black Friday" prices in the weeks before, often in early November, and some keep their prices through Cyber Monday (Monday, November 30). The dates differ by store and by PC, so we check prices every morning, and this page switches to live deals on Sunday, November 1.
Is Black Friday or Cyber Monday better for gaming PCs?
Neither is reliably better. Some stores keep their Black Friday prices through Cyber Monday, some change them, and a given PC can be cheaper on either day. Look at the PC's price history rather than the day on the calendar: if today's price is the lowest we have recorded, that is the number that matters.
Do prices drop before Black Friday?
Sometimes. Some PCs get their sale price early, and some stores raise a "was" price shortly before a sale so the discount looks bigger. That is why every PC on this site shows the prices we recorded ourselves, every morning since Sep 24, 2026, rather than the store's "was" price.
How can I tell if a Black Friday gaming PC deal is real?
Compare the sale price with the PC's own price history, not with the store's list price. Every PC page shows the price we recorded each morning and the lowest we have seen. On this page, "Was" and "lowest in N days" appear only when our history backs them.
Should I wait for Black Friday or buy a gaming PC now?
If the PC you want is at or near the lowest price we have recorded, waiting may not save much, and popular models can sell out. If it is well above its lowest, waiting for the sales can pay off. Many stores also extend their return windows over the holidays; check the store's own policy before you buy.

We check Newegg, Best Buy, Origin PC, HP, and HyperX every morning, and rank every gaming desktop they have in stock the same way, whichever store sells it.
