Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving in the US. Many stores start "early Black Friday" prices in the weeks before, often in early November, and some keep their prices through Cyber Monday (Monday, November 30). The dates differ by store and by PC, so we check prices every morning, and this page switches to live deals on Sunday, November 1.
Neither is reliably better. Some stores keep their Black Friday prices through Cyber Monday, some change them, and a given PC can be cheaper on either day. Look at the PC's price history rather than the day on the calendar: if today's price is the lowest we have recorded, that is the number that matters.
Sometimes. Some PCs get their sale price early, and some stores raise a "was" price shortly before a sale so the discount looks bigger. That is why every PC on this site shows the prices we recorded ourselves, every morning since Sep 24, 2026, rather than the store's "was" price.
Compare the sale price with the PC's own price history, not with the store's list price. Every PC page shows the price we recorded each morning and the lowest we have seen. On this page, "Was" and "lowest in N days" appear only when our history backs them.
If the PC you want is at or near the lowest price we have recorded, waiting may not save much, and popular models can sell out. If it is well above its lowest, waiting for the sales can pay off. Many stores also extend their return windows over the holidays; check the store's own policy before you buy.
