What iRacing says a PC needs, what a 49-inch super ultrawide adds, and the fastest PCs on sale today with at least iRacing's recommended graphics card. We don't benchmark racing sims, so this page shows no FPS numbers.
What matters
Graphics card: iRacing needs a gaming graphics card with its own video memory. Minimum: 6GB (a GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5600 XT). Recommended: 8GB (a GeForce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700 XT), for every session at medium settings. High end: 10GB or more (a GeForce RTX 4070, Radeon RX 6800 XT or Radeon RX 9070), for high settings. (iRacing, checked 2026-10-01)
Super ultrawide: A 49-inch super ultrawide at 5120x1440 is 7.4 million pixels: twice a 2560x1440 screen and about 89% of 4K. So it asks much more of the graphics card than one 1440p screen: aim at iRacing's high-end class or above. (our advice)
CPU: iRacing asks for 4 cores at minimum, 6 recommended and 8 or more for its high-end spec. (iRacing, checked 2026-10-01)
RAM: 16GB of DDR4 or better at minimum and recommended; 32GB or more for the high-end spec. (iRacing, checked 2026-10-01)
Assetto Corsa Competizione: We couldn't verify its requirements on its publisher's own page, so we don't list them here. (our advice)
Connection: iRacing races online: its minimum is a DSL connection at 256k or faster. Windows 11 64-bit, DirectX 11 and 40GB of storage. (iRacing, checked 2026-10-01)
